Marco Stiefel Interview The Sidhaland recently enjoyed a visit by international TM Sidhi Administrator, Marco Stiefel. Marco came to teach Maharishi School students the TM Sidhi Programme, and we took the opportunity to catch up with him for an interview. Marco, this is your first visit to the Maharishi European Sidhaland. What were your impressions? My first impression in coming to this Ideal Village was that for the first time I could really experience what an Ideal Village is. It's a place in which different families come together, have their own house and are able to do Group Programme together in an easy way. It has shown me what 'ideal' could mean for families, for retired people and for all those who like to have do business in a good community environment. Were you surprised by anything? Yes. I was very surprised by the Maharishi School - It's a small school building but there are a lot of lively students in the school. I was very impressed at how happy the feeling is there; it really is a very happy feeling. The children are receiving a wonderful education, studying everything from Sanskrit to computer science. But the main thing is the blissful atmosphere in the school. How did you find teaching the Maharishi School students the TM Sidhi Programme? That too was a very good experience. I was impressed by the students' clarity. They listen very well. They innocently focus on Maharishi' Knowledge. You can see how much they enjoy listening to Maharishi's words. They are the best group I have ever taught. It was a great experience for me personally and I'm looking forward to coming again for the next Course. You have travelled a lot and seen many aspects of Maharishi's movement. How do you think the Sidhaland is doing? The Sidhaland is doing very well! In Skelmersdale you have a natural gathering of Sidhas and TM teachers who have come together for being together. To me this seems to be a very natural set up. The Dome brings the community of Sidhas and Meditators together - it's like the heart of the community. And the school is also very important part of the Village. I've not experienced anything quite like this so far. The Sidhas really want to live together in a village. It's a very nice quality of life... this makes the place an ideal place to be! We are currently running a campaign to encourage more Sidhas and Meditators to move to the Sidhaland. What would you say to those considering a possible move here? Those who can come here should come right away and experience the place themselves. All they need is a place to live, and then they can create a business or get a job. This is such an ideal place. It's not just that it's publicised as ideal. It is really is ideal for Sidhas, Sidha families, for retired, or young people who want to start a business and/or family. Even Sidhas from other countries should come. They have to learn English, and then they could live here very happily. Can I interest you in an application form to join the Sidhaland? Yes, of course, that would be very nice (laughter). Of course other items also have to be considered in this regard right now;.. as I always like to do what Maharishi wants me to do. So we'll have to see!? Thank you very much, Marco. Thank you. It was a joyful stay. I hope everyone will be very regular in their TM and TM Sidhi programme, and I am looking forward to more visits to Skelmersdale in the future. Jai Guru Dev. |
