 Our Cottage |
Gwennol Cottage is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty just west of the small fishing village of Portleven. Magnificient cliff walks and sandy beaches are very close at hand. The cottage is one of a cluster of old tin-miners' cottages which have been rescued and "converted" by a group of friends planning to retire to this lovely spot, so the accomadation is of a high standard, exceptionally well equiped and cared for by a friend who lives permanently nearby. One mile down the lane is a general store which is also the Post Office and newsagent, and next to it the local pub "The Lion and Lamb". Helston (4 miles) and Penzance (8 miles) cater for more sophisticated needs. |
