EmploymentFinding EmploymentMost jobs are easier to research find if you are already living in Skelmersdale because you are already on the spot for interviews. We will be happy to give advice and suggestions to help you find work, though in practice the actual process of the job search has to be conducted mostly by yourself. Your CV and letter will then be circulated to the appropriate Sidhaland companies. Employment AgenciesMany MES members work outside the community within a 50-mile radius, or work away during the week and return at weekends. Agencies and local Jobcentres provide up to date information online about local jobs. If you don't have access to the Internet at home, your local library may have a free Internet service. Local AgenciesDetails of North West employment agencies are at www.yell.com Employment ServicesEmployment Service Direct 0845 6060 234 has advisors who can discuss your requirements and find jobs for you. www.employmentservice.gov.uk is a website showing jobs available at Jobcentres, or local agencies to go to, and allows you to select a job sector, job type and your preferred travel distance from home. www.worktrain.gov.uk is another government site showing jobs and training opportunities Jobs North West is a weekly newspaper with 90 pages of jobs in the North West region.
