William Gilmour [WG]: Describe yourself.
Kevin Rossiter [KR]: I have a passion for life. I like a busy life in a busy Sidhaland community. Transcendental Meditation (TM) makes me feel very creative and energetic - full of things I want to do.
WG: Are you happy with how your kids are developing, at Maharishi School?
KR: Our four kids are all happy, healthy, bright and full of creativity. They get on well with other people. I feel a lot of that is due to them attending Maharishi School.
Maharishi School is unbeatable for the all-round development it gives the kids. They are well equipped for success in whatever they choose to do. My two daughters are incredibly sweet. I never hear a bad word about anyone from them – they have a way of being that brings out the best in everyone and every situation.
WG: What are your main activities?
KR: I am a multimedia video producer for a living. We have a pool of very talented people here in the Sidhaland that I have drawn on – producers, programmers, graphic designers, illustrators – you name it. They are people with great skills and work experience in their fields at high levels of responsibility. We share Maharishi’s knowledge in the way we conduct business. The coherent team of Sidhaland members I have built up around me are instrumental in making Rossiter & Co the force it is today in the competitive world of corporate video production.
WG: Any hobbies?
KR: At the end of the working day/week, I still have plenty of energy for the family. I am a musician for a hobby – I’ve developed my talents in digital music to an enjoyable level. I’m naturally a very creative person – that is effect TM has on me.
WG: Why did you decide to move to the Sidhaland?
KR: There is no substitute for a community. Happiness is also about geography, the place you live in. I was living in London, where I owned a very nice flat. Moving was easy as I was prepared to compromise to get started in a new place. This is a practical take on moving. The point is, once moved, the benefits of the Sidhaland are gained. For me, the quality of life picked up immediately. More bliss, less stress.
WG: What do you enjoy most about living here?
KR: I love the easy atmosphere and sense of fulfilment. We have made a world here – a blissful world for real people. Families can come and enjoy maximum creativity and rapid evolution in a very comfortable way.
WG: What new development in the Sidhaland would you most appreciate? What would you be prepared to do to make it happen?
KR: Nowadays, I spend time helping build the Maharishi European Sidhaland (MES) website with John Collins, Bryan Irving and Paul Stanley. It’s very satisfying to play a part in bringing 12,000 visitors a month to the site. I want to see the website get bigger and better.
WG: What do you expect to be doing in ten years from now and where?
KR: I’ll be living in the Sidhaland, probably retired, and helping the movement.
